Hello, is there any chance of adding emacs to the text editor list? i have no experience with bsd, so i apologize if its a dumb question.

Why Emacs? Frenzy contains ViM, Jed and Gnotepad text editors. Emacs is too heavy for 200Mb CD :(

For HDD checking you may use "testdisk" and "scan_ffs" tools.

Why emacs? well, its the editor i spend most of my day in, so i thought i'd ask :) Is emacs larger than abiword? I'm sure the others would work just as well. I am primarily interested in using frenzy as a learning tool to try bsd style unix. Thank you very much for your time and effort in creating this distro and giving it to us.

Emacs is MUCH larger than AbiWord.
emacs-21.3_3.tgz - 15,681,931 bytes
abiword-2.2.3.tgz - 3,502,242 bytes
