Settings backup

Saving settings

To save Frenzy settings there is an utility called frbk.

When you make a backup, all new and modified files are saved, wich are mentioned in configuration file.

Backup list of files is in the file /usr/local/etc/frbackup/backup.lst.

If you want to save settings archive by yourself (for example on FTP or SMB disk), You can create a backup with copy archive by using “frbk-create” command, and then copy the file where you want to.

Restoring settings

The settings are restored automaticly when the system starts up, It checks for a backup on local HDD, Floppy or USB Flash.

If you have saved your settings using SSH or another handy way, you can do the following:

  1. Download the archive to the home directory (/root).
  2. Launch command “frestore archive-name“.
